Introduction

Jake Durr resides and works in the greater Northeast Ohio region as an information systems administrator, software developer, public speaker, producer, and more. He graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems in 2018.

He began tinkering with and discovered his passion for using and improving technology in 2007. Seizing an opportunity to capitalize on the closure of his favorite video game's community forums in 2009, he set out to create an alternative platform that would later become an integral foundation for said game's fan-powered revival effort. The project also fostered his passion for producing and composing music dedicated to the creativity and imagination behind the IP.

Since having moved on from the project in the summer of 2016, he began focalizing his technical skills towards building the presence of small businesses, organizations, and causes he cared about.

His knack for working in the public events sector really began to take off in the summer of 2017 after hosting a fundraiser to benefit a local community member near his hometown in Deerfield, Ohio. He's also appeared on television commercials and news spots featuring both The University of Akron Marching Band and his digital tribute to the historic Rubber Bowl shortly before its demolition that same year.

Fast forward to now, Jake continues to drive towards promoting and bringing life to numerous outlets for people to improve their day to day activities and/or enjoy themselves. He's also a huge NASCAR fan, favoring the driver of the #16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet in the Xfinity Series; AJ Allmendinger.
